Did someone already run it?

Is it currently running?

Are these dishes clean?

Shared responsibility.

1). Check status

2). Read device, start dishwasher (light is red)

3). Device picks up vibrations and temperature, knows it's running (light is blue)

4). Dishwasher cycle finished (light is green)

5). Unload dishwasher

6). Press device to restart status to dirty

The initial CAD model established the basic form of the device while developing the manufacturing approach for its four individual housing pieces.

The internal design process focused on creating dedicated spaces and mounting areas for each electronic component, ensuring everything fit within the housing before integrating the components into the CAD assembly.

Coding

The code was developed in phases to interpret sensor data and track the dishwasher’s status. By combining temperature and vibration readings, the system identifies cycle progress and transitions between DIRTY, RUNNING, and CLEAN, while motion detection activates the display when someone approaches.
